Calhoun is an elven member of the Fire Ashari. He protected the village of Pyrah from trespassers. As an NPC, Calhoun is played by Matthew Mercer.
Description
Appearance
When Vox Machina met him, Calhoun was a bald elven man with dark tattoos around his eyes. His entire left arm was covered in a long-healed but horrible burn scar. He was dressed in the dark brown and black hides and leathers typical of the Fire Ashari.[1]

Background
He seemed to be the leader of the lookout group of about ten individuals, who guarded Pyrah from unwelcome beings.
"Aramente to Pyrah" (1x22)
Vox Machina was traveling towards the Fire Ashari village when suddenly, large walls of stone surrounded them. Calhoun spoke with the group to determine their intention. Persuaded by Keyleth, the Fire Ashari released Vox Machina and showed them the path to the Flamespeaker.[2]
